Lindstrøm Hotel is a certified Eco-lighthouse and has been since 2012.

The Eco-Lighthouse certification scheme is a concrete and effective tool that helps us make smart and profitable environmental choices.

Furniture - repair and reuse

Among other things, we buy quality furniture that will last for many years. When the furniture starts to get worn, we repair them rather than buying new ones. For example, we reupholster the fabric on chairs and sofas.

Our hotel is decorated with a lot of second hand and old furniture. Reuse is important to us.

Local ingredients from Lærdal

In our hotel kitchen, we try to use as much locally produced ingredients as possible. In the summer, the vegetables are delivered from local farms in Lærdal.

Food waste

We try to make our guests aware of food waste by encouraging them to throw away as little food as possible when dining with us.

We are proud to be a certified Eco-lighthouse, and our environmental report tells us that our CO2 emissions are reduced every year. We promise to continue the work to get even better!
