Every year, many of our guests make the trip to Borgund Stave Church.

The most distinctive of the Norwegian stave churches is only a 20-minute drive from the Lindstrøm Hotel.

The stave chuch was built around 1180 and is very well preserved. It is dedicated to the apostle Andrew.

Here you will also find a visitor centre, with exhibitions, a cafe and a souvenir shop.

Close to the stave church is Vindhella, the most beautiful part of The King’s Road Over Filefjell. In 2014, the stretch of road was awarded the Beautiful Roads prize.

Why not join a guided tour to Vindhella?
