In the municipalities of Lærdal and Aurland you can wander along the historical royal roads or in the wild beauty of the Aurlandsdalen valley. You can play golf on the historical Rikheim Estate or cycle along the fjord or on the Navvies’ Road (Rallarvegen). Swim in the fjord and fish in mountain lakes. Pick strawberries in the summer and lingonberries in the autumn. This region has a dry and mild climate and there are plenty of activities nearly all year.
